Being a very strong left-brain type personality, artistic/graphic type tasks are a stretch for me. Fireworks is pretty much my speed, Photoshop pretty much sends me running to find someone else to do it for me.

That being said, having spent some time with this book I don't feel completely helpless in that program anymore. I'm no Photoshop wiz and never intend to be, but I have more confidence in being able to do some basic tasks in there now.

Very good book for walking us the rest of us through the basics to accomplish some pretty cool tasks. There's even an entire chapter on Bridge, which surprised me.

I'd highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn some basics and see they offer a second, more "intermediate" level book as well. :)
