This came across my radar last night and I'd thought I'd share. The original listing is a bit garbled but I believe this is with the University of Utah's Health Sciences Center - I know they do have a decent sized CF shop at the University - can someone there confirm this listing? [btw, the department of workforce services website is a usability mess - I can't direct link to a listing, there's no ability to email to a friend, and the overuse of clunky ajax information retrieval screams accessibility nightmare </rant>.]

Anywho, from the listing:

1. Participates in the management and support of all assigned applications. Helps identify necessary resources for project development and implementation.

2. Communicates information from users; project stakeholders; and vendors on product features and future development. Provides input on product upgrade timing issues to customers; related project teams; technical staff; and management.

3. Write technical specification documentation for new and existing systems.

4. Program various applications using object oriented languages and others such as ColdFusion; PL/SQL; and HTML. Must follow ITS programming policy and standards.

5. Leads or participates in the implementation of new software to end users. Coordinates all client software upgrades; migrations; and other initiatives. May manage the activities and assignments of department staff and functional project team members in support of project implementation. Responsible for testing software before deployment.

6. May coordinate activities of other ITS staff and department staff in support of client installation and maintenance.

7. Attends team meetings; and communicates (verbally and in writing) programming issues to appropriate staff and customers. Presents findings; recommendations; and specifications both verbally and in writing. Provides time and resource estimates to managers.

8. Performs routine and complex system maintenance tasks; including hardware and software monitoring; system recovery and performance tuning for department systems.

9. Utilize advanced problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities.

10. Cover on-call shift and work overtime when required.Full-time 40 hours/week; Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 5:00 PM some on call

Other requirements - A licensed Pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience. Two years experience in a Citrix deployment environment. Two years knowledge and experience in a Health Science or health care setting. Two years knowledge of Pharmacy process and terminology. Two years experience in the implementation of client/server technologies in a Windows/Oracle environment. Ability to work in a changing environment.

So anyway, fairly generic work requirements until you get down to the pharmacy stuff. Due to the specialized nature of the work I would expect you could demand a higher rate. If that's you, good luck.
