Looks like forum spam.
In my experience large, generic cattle calls like getafreelancer are only good for de-emphasizing developer skill, personality, and professionalism. The only metric left to compete on is price, making margins (if there) ridiculously thin. Better to post a job listing with a site that specializes exclusively in the niche you seek expertise in (like AuthenticJobs for designers, or jobs.stackoverflow.com for talent based on accrued reputation). Better yet, if you're seeking quality programmers start a meaningful relationship locally with your technology user groups; attend the meetings, get to know the presenters, and participate in the community. When it comes time to start your project you'll have already done the leg work to know exactly who is a good fit for your organization or project. - Matthew |
